INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS OF EAST TEXAS
For many years, churches in East Texas have formally welcomed people of different world cultures to the community. International Friends have enjoyed fellowships, cooking classes, sewing classes, and training in English, GED, Citizenship, and Bible Study. International Friends of East Texas (IFETEX) was officially formed in 2006 with the coming together of a group of Tyler area churches who realized that the international community of East Texas could be more effectively reached through collaboration.

PLEASE PLAN TO JOIN US FOR A SUMMER LAKE PARTY ON SATURDAY, JULY 11, FROM 5:00 TO 8:00 PM. Come to the Lake Tyler Green Acres Baptist Paul Powell Retreat Center at 16163 N. Peninsula Rd., Whitehouse, TX 75791. Come for swimming (no lifeguard provided), volleyball, basketball, hiking trails, children's playground, and fun! Potluck dinner begins at 6:00 pm.
